In October of 1993, Melvin G. Hall and Robert Lynn Hall founded the First Community Bank of Taney County. With deep roots in southwest Missouri, this return symbolically “closed the circle” on a lifetime of banking accomplishments starting in Louisburg and spanning Noel, Mo., Southwest City, Mo., Pineville, Ark., Bentonville, Ark., Webster Groves, Mo., Alton, Il., and back to southwest Missouri in Branson. Though deceased, Mr. Hall’s belief in a traditional, friendly, “hometown” approach to banking is carried on by his son, Lynn.
In December of 2004, the bank’s name was changed to First Community Bank of the Ozarks in order to broaden the bank’s ability to adopt other communities and provide them with the singular customer service it has come to be known for. In addition to Forsyth and Hollister, FCB plans to add additional facilities in Branson in order to serve our customers better. We are excited about the opportunity to provide these convenient locations with which to serve you more effectively.
First Community Bank of the Ozarks, a home-owned and locally operated bank, is committed to providing our community with quality financial leadership, friendship, and unmatched customer service. At First Community Bank of the Ozarks, we treat our customers as individuals – not as numbers.
First Community Bank of the Ozarks. More than just banking . . . it’s Community.
