About Us

First Community Bank of the Ozarks was chartered in September 1993, by the late Melvin Hall family in Branson, Missouri. First Community Bank was established with the belief there was need for a locally owned hometown bank in the Branson area.

First Community Bank was first chartered as First Community Bank of Taney County. In December of 2004, the Bank's name was changed to First Community Bank of the Ozarks. The shift allowed the Bank to further expand and serve the needs of the surrounding communities.

Over the years additional locations have been added with convenient facilities in Forsyth, Hollister, and State Hwy 248 in Branson.

In 2011 First Community Bank was acquired by Donald Combs and sons Kendall and Randall Combs. Kendall Combs, a local businessman has served on the Bank's board for years. The Comb's family remains committed to carry on the tradition of hometown banking.

While the ownership may have changed, the original mission remains the same with an experienced local banking staff serving local people.

Today, the board members Don Baker, Charlie Schumacher, Kendall Combs, Randall Combs, Ron Herschend, Tim Huddleston, and Bob Simmons oversee and direct First Community Bank of the Ozarks in service to Taney County.
