First Community Bank of the Ozarks was chartered in September 1993, by the late Melvin Hall family in Branson, Missouri. First Community Bank was established with the belief there was need for a locally owned hometown bank in the Branson area. That belief still holds true today. The Bank’s name was changed in 2004 to First Community Bank of the Ozarks to accommodate expansion and service to surrounding communities.
In 2011 First Community Bank of the Ozarks was acquired by Donald Combs and sons Kendall and Randall Combs. Kendall Combs, a local businessman has served on the Bank’s board for years. The Comb’s family remains committed to carry on the tradition of hometown banking. Our owners and leaders have a strong rooted belief that a work-life balance is imperative, a belief that our greatest assets are our employees, and a belief that those employees should be provided top-notch benefits and incentives to allow a healthy life style.
First Community Bank of the Ozarks is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
