First Community Bank of the Ozarks was chartered in September 1993, by the late Melvin Hall family in Branson, Missouri. We were established with, and still follow, the belief there was need for a locally owned, hometown bank in the Branson area. The bank’s name was changed in 2004 to First Community Bank of the Ozarks to accommodate expansion and service to surrounding communities.
In 2012, First Community Bank of the Ozarks was acquired by Donald Combs and sons Kendall and Randall Combs. Kendall Combs, a local businessman, has served on the bank’s board for years. The Combs family remains committed to carry on the tradition of hometown banking.
