We’re committed to serving the personal and business banking needs of the Branson, Hollister and Forsyth communities. Because we’re a community bank, we offer local decision-making from people you know and trust.
First Community Bank was established with the belief there was need for a locally owned hometown bank in the Branson area.
September 1993 – First Community Bank of the Ozarks was chartered as First Community Bank of Taney County by the late Melvin Hall family in Branson, Missouri.
December of 2004 – The bank’s name was changed to First Community Bank of the Ozarks. The shift allowed the bank to further expand and serve the needs of the surrounding communities.
Over the years, additional locations have been added with convenient facilities in Forsyth, Hollister and State Hwy 248 in Branson.
In 2012, First Community Bank was acquired by Donald Combs and sons Kendall and Randall Combs. Kendall Combs, a local businessman, has served on the bank’s board for years. The Combs family remains committed to carry on the tradition of hometown banking.
Today, the board members Charles Hachtel, Kendall Combs, Randall Combs, Mike Combs, Bob Simmons, and Larry Schmitt oversee and direct First Community Bank of the Ozarks in service to Taney County.
Going forward, we are more likely to go by our initials FCB, which we believe represents who we are.
